Support for Office for Mac 2011 ended on October 10, 2017. All of your Office for Mac 2011 apps will continue to function. Microsoft Office for Mac Home and Student 2011 Family Pack: Absolutely it works fine on my Macbook Air. It you don't have a Superdrive a simple download from the apple website to your PC will enable you to share your CD drive wirelessly from a PC or PC laptop which I've done but now I also have an iMac and Pro that works just as easily through.
